MAC Moleskin Eye Shadow Swatch/Review

Right to Left: MAC Soft Brown, UD Naked, MAC Moleskin, UD Buck

My friend recently got me a MAC Pro Palette for my birthday which I love so much. I bought a lot of MAC eye shadows in their pans but I depotted three so far. I bought Moleskin at the Cosmetic Company Store which is pretty much a discounted makeup retailer that sells discontinued makeup products. Moleskin cost $10.50 rather than it's usual $15 price. The texture is very blend able and it's very pigmented. I think it's amazing and I love matte eye shadows. It's a good color to blend with or put in the crease. I have good luck with MAC eye shadows and usually they're all good.

MAC Crosswires Lipstick Swatch

Crosswires is a MAC lipstick that is cremesheen. It's the perfect coral. It's the one on the right. the one on the left is decolette by sephora.

Mac Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch Review/Swatch

This is my second eye shadow from Mac! My first one is Amber Lights. But pretty much this shadow is a "minimal pink with shimmer" in a frosted finish. It's the very light shade. I don't like swatching lighter shadows since it's harder to show up on my iphone camera lol. If you happen to be near a store/counter check out this shade yourself because it's so pretty on the lids! This and Groundwork is probably going to be my everyday makeup for the next couple of weeks.

The tint to Naked Lunch is different than UD's Sin and sin is much more pigmented and more metallic which i do not prefer all the time! I'll probably post a comparison to it later!

MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork Review/Swatch + Comparison to Maybelline Color Tattoo Shadows

Hi! This is my first ever paint pot and i was super super super excited to get it. I do have all the neutral colors of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Shadows but Mac has a much larger selection of colors.

I got the Paint Pot in Groundwork because i saw how gorgeous it looked on MissGlamorazzi in her March 2012 Favorites video. I got it for $17.50 on the site. I wouldn't recommend risking and ordering it from another seller!  Mac describes the paint pots as
A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners.
Ground work is described as a mid-tone neutral taupe in a satin finish.

Sorry if these pictures look washed out but it is pretty accurate! My lighting is just off by a little. Mac paint pots are so so so creamy and long wearing since i tried my friends and also in the store!
I was scared that it would be duped by the raved about Color Tattoos but i'm so glad they are not similar or i would have felt like i wasted money. Tough as Taupe is much darker and more grey toned and Bad to the Bronze in comparison is more metallic finished and more bronze.

I have so happy with my purchase out of the 4 products i ordered. I don't think i have splurged money for myself for no reason with makeup for no reason so it feels bitter sweet.

Late September/October Buys -- Rimmel Spicy Bronze, MAC Amber Lights, Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer, B&BW Body Spray Swatches

I purchased quite a few beauty products over my little month break from posting here... not that many people read this blog though LOL. I bought two fragrance mists from Bath & Body Works in Secret Wonderland and Cozy Autumn Vanilla, Rimmel's Spicy Bronze eye shadow, MAC's eye shadow in Amber Lights, and Maybelline's Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer in the shade Cream Light 4-5.

So far, I'm really liking Rimmel Spicy Bronze because I only got it for $1.50! I used a coupon from target which i printed off the site :) I have yet to try Amber Lights but it's my first MAC eye shadow.

The camera lighting is just off but it seems like i picked the lightest shade but i picked the median shade that was available at my local Target. I'm really liking it for under eyes and for blemishes it pretty good. I just wear some BB cream under it before concealing though. It has a doe tip which is really easy to handle since no brush is needed but it might be unsanitary to use to blemished directly.

MAC Peaches and Improvise Blush Review & Swatches

These two blushes are the only MAC products i own! i cherish them dearly because their blush is so high quality! Peaches is in their permanent line of sheertone blush. Improvise on the other hand was from a mineral collection from 2009. My friend got it for me from one of those stores that sell discontinues makeup.
